What's New

May 10, Saturday, 10am - 2pm. OMP First Annual Mayfest. Join us at the City Park in Ozark on the banks of the Finley River for our First Annual Mayfest. This is a river festival with demonstrations of dutch oven cooking, vehicle rigging, z-drag demonstrations, flat-water races and a number of other exciting events. Volunteers and business participants are welcome. Call 417-863-9848 for info.

May 17 & 18, Saturday & Sunday. May Monthly Float. Destination to be determined later. If you’d like to join us, please contact Alan Moore at

May 24-26, Memorial Day Weekend, Aftermath Nantahala Trip. Pack your bags, load your boats and head east to the Nantahala river. This is an annual follow-up trip to the Whitewater Clinic, giving beginning whitewater boaters a chance to hone their skills on one of the best learning rivers in the country. You'll find great company, some guidance down the river, and plenty of experienced boaters around to give you the confidence you need to push your skills. We will meet at noon on Saturday, May 24th and put on the river by 1 p.m. The next day is more of the same. We will not be structuring a "clinic" or complete instruction on the water, however, there will be a lot of boaters there that know their stuff and can help you perfect your skills. Contact James Mattox at Dynamic Earth in Springfield, MO for more information or to sign up. Phone 417.877.8855 or email James at
