JULY MEMBERS MEETING –  July 29th (THURSDAY) •  6:30pm at the Springfield Botanical Center (2400 S Scenic) • Guest speaker Loring Bullard will be sharing info on his book “Springs of Missouri”.

JULY FLOAT –  July 17th-18th (SATURDAY & SUNDAY) • Buffalo River (Spring Creek Access to Rush Landing = 13.6 miles) • OVERNIGHT FLOAT! • Contact Terri Bradley at 417.860.1449 for more info.
 
AUGUST FLOAT – August 14th (SATURDAY) • North Fork (River Blair Bridge to Dawt Mill = 8 miles) • Meet at Academy at 8:00am or at Blair Access at 10:00am • Contact Gary Tombridge at 417.861.6056 for more info.
 
FLOAT FOR INDEPENDENCE – August 22nd (SUNDAY) • Niangua River Bennett Springs Access to NRO Campground) • Join us as we take a group of special needs kids down the Niangua River for a fun day of paddling, squirt gun fights, and heart warming memories! • SEPTEMBER FLOAT – September 11th (SATURDAY) • Spring River (Dam#3 to Spring River Oaks = 8 miles) ***NOTE: The Spring River entails several class II rapids in cold water.  This trip is recommended for intermediate level paddlers or above.***  Contact Craig Hesington at 417.693.1618 at for more info. 
 
SEPTEMBER MEMBERS MEETING – Sept. 23rd (THURSDAY) • Springfield Botanical Center (2400 S. Scenic Ave) • 6:30pm • Featuring special guest speaker, Marissa Frazier, from the Sierra Club, who will be providing updates on current and future projects affecting our waterways and environment.
