On Saturday, June 5th Ozark Mountain Paddlers and Fellows Lake are offering an Introduction to paddling.
We will be conducting two sessions (session one begins at 8:30am & Session two begins at 10:30am) with 20 individuals each.
There is no charge for this class if you have your own boat if not we will have boats available to rent for $20 for the class (includes life jacket and paddles). All participants must wear a life jacket.
We will be featuring beginner training on:
• Transporting Kayaks and Canoes
• Basic safety considerations
• Moving water/river considerations or hazards
• Entering and exiting your boat
• Basic paddle strokes and on water practice
• Due to limited class size preregistration is required.
