Our March Member’s meeting will be on Thursday, March 9th, 6:00pm at the Springfield Nature Center. We will be featuring guest speakers Betzaida Rivera and Morgan Wyatt, two naturalist from the Missouri Department of Conservation presenting a program on “Raptors in Missouri”.
Raptors are large carnivorous birds such as Eagles, Hawks, Osprey, Owls etc…. We all see these magnificent birds from time to time during our river trips and outdoor activities here in the Ozarks and often want to know more about these creatures. This will be a great opportunity to learn to identify the particular species and know more about there activities and life cycles. We hope to see you and any friends you would like to bring.
