Ozark Mountain Paddlers has been invited to host a booth at the Shoal Creek Water Festival on August 10th, and we need volunteers to help staff the booth, answer questions and smile! If you can assist even for a few minutes, it would be appreciated. The particulars are:
Date: August 10th
Location: Wildcat Glades Conservation and Audubon Center, Wildcat Park in Joplin, MO (Exit 6 off I-44 in Joplin and south on 86 less than a half mile)
Time: 10 am – 3 pm
Admission is free and there will be Water Rescue Demonstrations, Boat Races, Wild Bird Shows and fun for everyone.
